We are committed to engaging with and empowering youth through various programs and initiatives. Recognizing the importance of nurturing the next generation of leaders, Rotary has established numerous avenues for youth involvement, aiming to foster leadership skills, promote cultural understanding, and instill a sense of service.
We provide financial support to young individuals pursuing education or engaging in skill-building activities. These programs aim to alleviate the financial burden associated with education and training, enabling young people to reach their full potential and contribute meaningfully to society.
The Rotaract Club of Barrie is a group of young adults age 18-35 taking action in our community, building leadership and professional skills and having fun. Our club members are dedicated people who share a passion for both community service and friendship. Becoming a Rotarian connects you with a diverse group of professionals who share your drive to give back.
Interact clubs bring together young people ages 12-18 to develop leadership skills and learn about the world through service projects and activities. Interact clubs organize at least two projects every year, one that helps their school or community and one that promotes international understanding. Rotary club sponsors mentor and guide Interactors as they carry out projects and develop leadership skills.
