ABOUT THE BARRIE-HURONIA ROTARY CLUB
Now into it’s 10th year, the Barrie Fall Fishing Festival has become a must do activity of the fall season in Simcoe County. Families and individual anglers of all ages and skill levels are invited to take part in the 10 day event. The festival is an exclusive event for the Barrie-Huronia Rotary Club and serves to attract more people to the sport of fishing, educate about Kempenfelt Bay’s environmental importance, and a tool to raise money for community projects conducted throughout the year.
By Partnering with the Barrie-Huronia Rotary Club, in Sponsorship of this Annual event celebrating the beautiful Barrie waterfront, you are joining with other like-minded community members in your support of deserving community projects. 100% of all monies raised from all of our fundraising goes into our community and international projects.
With your sponsorship of this event, you and your company are joining many others by contributing back to the local community through one of the many Rotary fundraising events.
Through Rotary’s Community Service we put on various events, throughout the year, to raise funds and provide major financial support to projects such as RVH Rotary House, Hospice-Simcoe, and the Georgian College Wellness Centre. Rotary contributes to many Initiatives that assist in the greening of our community and we also provide assistance to local individuals at a time when they and their
families are in need.
Through Vocational Service we give back to our schools with initiatives in our elementary schools, high schools and Georgian College.
Through International Service, we have been working to eradicate Polio, worldwide, for more than
the last 30 years. We are very close to completely eradicating Polio.
